Lisa has been in the hair industry since 1986 and opened Lisa Power Salon in July '06. Education has always been a top priority for Lisa as she has trained stylists and educators around the world most of her career. She was the lead educator for ICON International for six years, spent 13 years as an educator for Sebastian International, and was the creative lead at her previous salon. Lisa has been designated as the “Best Hair Colorist” in Seattle by Allure Magazine twice in two years, and Seattle Magazine listed her twice as the “Best Place to Go Red.” In addition, Lisa’s talents have been highlighted in numerous trade and consumer articles.
Lisa loves all aspects of color from reds to gray coverage to blonds. She loves the challenge of corrective color and excels in creative color placement. Her style of hair cutting ranges from very creative to completely classic, while designing for individual face shapes and hair textures.
Lilliam is our Spicy Latina! She speaks Spanish as well as English perfectly. She gives possibly the worlds best scalp massage. Lilliam loves any kind of a big project. If you are a mess…she is your girl. She’s very detailed oriented so she loves any kind of a challenge, be it color or textured hair. Lilliam loves styles that are very classic and precision as well as more edgy and trendy. She also enjoys coaching clients on how to style their own hair at home successfully.
When not at the salon you can find Lilliam dancing up a salsa storm, doingaerial acrobatics or MMA (mixed martial arts and yes…she is solid). Lilliam is a go getter and you will love her.
Rachelle immediately began her career at the LPS after graduating top in her class from the Gary Manuel Aveda institute in August of 2013. After completing an advanced training program with Lisa, Rachelle has worked on various photo shoots doing hair and makeup, participated in fashion shows and has attended many classes on creative cutting and coloring.
Rachelle specializes in foiling, grey coverage, color corrections, red hair, creative cuts and the Brazilian Blowout Smoothing system. Because Rachelle is committed to building personal relationships with her clients and going the extra mile, she would love to give a makeup lesson or touchup using our Glo Mineral Makeup line at the end of your service enhancing your personalized look.
Outside of the salon she is just as enthusiastic about life as she is doing hair, she loves spending quality time with her two sons, riding motorcycles, swing dancing and antique shopping.
Lauren is a well seasoned stylist from the east coast and is now has set her roots in Seattle. After studying art most of her life she has found the perfect way to apply those principles to her specialty, balayage (hair painting). Her favorite color techniques are creative dimensional color and on trend hair painting. Industry experts and clients are taking note. Lauren was a finalist for the 2016 Northwest Hair styling Awards for Best Colorist of the Year. She thrives in makeover and color correction projects as well as cutting with a variety of custom methods. Being a hopeless romantic, Lauren adores bridal and event styling. Having a strong passion for education, Lauren now channels her energy as an educator for Moroccanoil as well as for Sunlights Balayage. When Lauren isn’t busy making her clients beautiful you can find her in Puget sound kayaking, paddle boarding or in a pilates studio. When you sit in Lauren’s chair you will enjoy discussing food, travel, personal health, water sports and of course great hair.
Born and raised in Chelan Washington, Melonie moved to Seattle to hone her personal style living life in the big city. She attended the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute, graduated at the top of her class, and went on to complete her apprenticeship at Lisa Power Salon. With so much valuable education behind her she is well equipped to do what she loves…obsessing about all things hair, and it shows. She is the recipient of the 2016 Northwest Fashion and Hairstyling “Newcomer of the Year” award. Melonie loves all aspects of hair design including creative and traditional haircuts, color and Brazilian Blowouts. She especially enjoys working with color corrections, blondes, Balayage and creative hair color. When not doing hair, Melonie is inspired by interior design, art, architecture and film. She believes that there is a creative solution to everything and tries her best to live that every day.
Growing up in Bellevue, Becca is a local and loves the area and all it has to offer. She completed her studies at Gene Juarez Academy and after a short stint at the front desk is ready to begin her apprenticeship with Lisa. Outside of work she can be found at the gym completing her personal journey towards fitness (she looks amazing) or hanging out with friends, family and boyfriend. Becca loves the positive atmosphere that being in a salon brings out and is super excited to be a part of that network. She looks forward to learning about all aspects of color and cutting. You will love her as much as we do!
Kristen is new in town and here to take care of all of your scheduling needs as our new front desk leader. She is born and raised in California and excited to explore our beautiful city and region. Kristen has been in the industry for over 6 years as a stylist and loves all things editorial and runway inspired. She is eager to be a part of our team to assist our wonderful guests with all of your scheduling needs. She has a passion for cooking, loving on animals and volunteers at the local shelter as often as possible. Her motto is there is nothing a strong cup of coffee and a good book can’t fix!
Zoe Boysen has her own fancy salon in Spokane Washington called Department Z. She loves us so much that once a month she comes to Lisa Power Salon to get her fix and take care of her Seattle fans. Zoe is an incredible artist and has been an educator for numerous manufacturing companies and is a prolific editorial stylist. She also is a world traveler and can’t ever seem to get enough. If you are looking for something creative, daring and fun…Zoe is your gal. Did I mention that she is a classically trained cellist?? Zoe is so cool.
